The Summer Academic Camp is a summer camp program designed for students going into Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Our purpose with the Summer Academic Camp is to provide a fun and academic camp in a safe environment with qualified, loving teachers. Our teaching staff include teachers currently teaching in NC public schools, have 2+ years of professional teaching experience, and/or have B.A. or M.A. in Education!
The Kindergarten program (9AM - 4PM) is especially designed for children ages 5 - 6. Children will prepare for Kindergarten by learning Language Arts and Math, enjoying music and story time, and going though fun activity centers. There will also be a snack time, lunch hour, and nap time.
The Half Day program (9AM – 12PM) for students in grades 1 - 8 is geared towards students wanting to bridge the academic gap of the summer and study with peers based on their current reading level. The classes include Reading, Writing, and Math.
The Full Day program (9AM – 4PM) for students in grades 1 - 8 includes the morning classes plus an afternoon program. The afternoon program allows the students to enjoy fun summer activities.
The Intensive SAT Prep program prepares students in 9 - 12th grade for the Critical Reading/Writing and Math sections of the SAT. The classes are in the mornings from 9AM to 12PM.
